Overview

Bible Study is a Bible-learning game developed by Rafael Lima. The game does not require an account, and your name, birth year, profile photo and progress are not sent to any server operated by the developer. The game shows a small advertising banner on the Home and Play screens, served by Google AdMob, and measures anonymous usage with Google Analytics for Firebase. Both use the internet connection.

Information stored on your device

The game may store the following information locally on your device:

  • The player name and birth year entered during setup
  • An optional profile photo you choose, saved only in the app's private storage
  • Lesson progress, stars, achievements, streaks, and recently opened modules
  • Language, appearance, audio, and accessibility preferences

This information is used only to personalize the game and preserve progress on that device. It is not transmitted to Rafael Lima or shared with third parties by the game.

Information the game does not collect

The developer does not collect or receive account details, email addresses, gameplay messages, precise location, contacts, or device sensor data, and the game has no AI communication service. The only third parties that process data are Google AdMob (ads) and Google Analytics for Firebase (usage statistics), both described below.

Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To improve the lessons, the game records anonymous events: which screens and modules are opened, which units and lessons are started, completed, retried or left, how long a lesson takes, how many stars were earned, the 1–5 heart rating you may give a lesson or module, the game language, the app version, the device model and operating system, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. Events are linked to a random app-instance identifier, never to your name, e-mail, birth year, profile photo or anything you type. We use them to decide which content to improve, merge or retire.

Analytics are switched off until you have answered the consent choice where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), and they are never collected for players who entered an age under 13. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices, and reset your advertising ID in your device settings. Analytics data is kept for 14 months and is processed by Google as described in Google's privacy information.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows a small banner ad on the Home and Play screens only. Ads are never shown during lessons, prayers or readings, and are not shown to players who entered an age under 13. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect and use your device's advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud, as described in Google's advertising policy.

Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the game asks for your consent before ads are loaded, using Google's consent tool. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy choices. On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings under Google → Ads.

Children's privacy

The game's Bible-learning content is suitable for children, but the app is directed to players aged 13 and over. Players who enter an age under 13 are not shown ads. Player information entered in the game remains on the device and is not knowingly collected by Rafael Lima. Parents or guardians can remove all locally stored information by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.

App stores and operating systems

Google Play, device manufacturers, and operating-system providers may independently process installation, diagnostic, purchase, or device information under their own privacy policies. Those practices are controlled by those providers, not by the Bible Study game.

Support communications

If you contact support by email, Rafael Lima receives the email address and information you choose to provide. Support messages are used only to respond to the request and are retained only as reasonably necessary for support, security, or legal obligations. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.

Deleting your data

You can delete the game's locally stored information at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or uninstalling the app. Because the game has no online account or cloud storage, Rafael Lima does not hold a server-side copy of your game progress.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the game's features or data practices change. The current version and its update date will remain available on this page.
