Common questions

Does the app contain Bible text? No. It only picks a chapter and shows the reference, such as "John 3", with the book name in your language. You read the chapter in the Bible you prefer, printed or digital.
Is every chapter equally likely? Yes. Each of the 1,189 chapters of the 66 books has the same chance of being picked.
Does it need an internet connection or an account? No. The app works fully offline and has no account. The internet is used only to load the small ad banner and Google's consent form.
How do I change my ad choice? Where the law requires consent, a "Privacy choices" link is shown on the screen. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings under Google, then Ads.
How do I change the language? Tap the globe button at the top of the screen and choose one of the 34 languages. By default the app uses your device language; on Android 13 and newer you can also set it per app in the system settings.

Translations

The app is available in 34 languages. The translations were prepared with AI assistance. If a word or sentence in your language can be better, write to the address above with the language and your suggestion.

Privacy requests
